Community Diagnostic Centre
I was commissioned to create a series of four large-scale artworks for Mansfield’s new Community Diagnostic Centre, which opened in April 2026. The brief was to create work that connected the building to the local community through recognisable places, landmarks and heritage.Developed from my original paintings and drawings, the artworks were enlarged and transferred onto the walls of the centre as large-scale installations, bringing colour, familiarity and a strong sense of place into the healthcare environment. Creating artwork that reflects the character and identity of the places people know is central to my practice.
Landscape Artist of the Year 2026 & 2027
For two years running, I’ve had the pleasure of being selected as a wildcard artist for Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year. Taking part in both the 2026 (St James' Park, London) and 2027 (Whitby) series has been a fantastic experience, giving me the opportunity to paint alongside other artists, push myself creatively and be part of one of the UK’s best-known art programmes — with the occasional appearance on TV along the way, plus the all-important wildcard T-shirt.
Open Art Exhibition 2026
Selected for Mansfield Museum & Art Gallery's Open Art Exhibition, this body of work marked a more personal direction within my practice. The paintings reflected a deeply emotional period of family life, created during my wife Lyndsay’s chemotherapy treatment, and explored memory, resilience, love and the quiet moments that carry the most meaning.

About me
I’m a Nottinghamshire-based artist and illustrator with a particular interest in architecture, place and local identity. My work often focuses on familiar streets, buildings and landmarks, exploring the connection people have with the places around them. Alongside my studio practice, I also work on public art projects, exhibitions and creative workshops.
